As a defensive tower, the Prenzlauer Tor supports the medieval fortifications of the city of Pasewalk. It is one of the main gates of the city of Pasewalk. Very attractive even in the dark.

Worth seeing gate in Pasewalk, but also the almost complete city wall has been preserved.

The 25.6 m high Prenzlauer Tor in Pasewalk is one of the two of the four formerly existing gates of the fortifications that surrounded the city. The Gothic three-storey brick gate from the mid-15th century was built on a fieldstone base and secured the road to Prenzlau. Since 1996 the town museum has been located here.
