Schloss Falkenhausen is a baroque castle in Wald, a district of Gunzenhausen. In 1749, Karl Wilhelm Friedrich, sovereign of the Principality of Ansbach, acquired the building for the family of his illegitimate wife Elisabeth Wünsch, whose son was a Freiherr von Falkenhausen. The palace has remained the private property of the Falkenhausen family to this day.
