Tips
Watch out for all the people taking a walk around here. Very nice steep descent when coming from the south, and conversely a pretty tough climb when coming from the north. Almost parallel to the Tankenberg is the Paasberg, which is more gradual but no less beautiful.

Short steep climb from Denekamperstraat. The road starts slowly, but gets steeper. After turning to the left it is false flat. After the exit to the right, a steep section follows up to a maximum gradient of 8% to the top at the Theekoepel.

Nice views if you are touring. If you are ‘HIITing’, this segment is a no-no. Too narrow and too many tourists.
