Old Main Bridge Kitzingen

That it is now closed to motor vehicles, upgrades Kitzingen's Old Main Bridge enormously. The current traffic calming has a curious history. The Kitzingen city council had decided quite some time ago that the Old Main Bridge should become a one-way street. After that it was decided on which direction the traffic should flow. In the first attempt, there was no majority for out of town and the second attempt did not provide a majority for city ... So the Old Main Bridge was now a one-way street, but remained lack of direction decision continues to be navigable in both directions and the Kitzinger were extensively ridiculed as modern Schildbürger ,

This bridge is closed to traffic, but can be used by pedestrians and cyclists.

Kitzinger StadtSchoppen Drink wine in a wonderful atmosphere right on the Kitzingen town balcony. Enjoy the "Best of Franconian wine" from the winemakers from Franconia. Every week, from Thursday to Sunday, the Franconian wineries offer tastings of their wines. There is also live music on Sundays. The city sausage and various pastries round off the offer. They sang and played really well, everything from the 50s/60s & 70s 🔝.
The atmosphere, the Stadtschoppen, the music and the weather... it was just perfect 😍
