After the Komoot tour I drove through Völklingen to the Völklingen Ironworks. That's not so good through town. We drove back directly over the bridge to the Saarradweg. You have nothing to do with city traffic. We drove over the next bridge to the towpath again, since the Saar cycle path is closed on the left-hand side between Gaislautern and Völklingen. The Völklingen Ironworks World Heritage Site is always worth a visit with its many events.

The Völklinger Hütte World Heritage Site is definitely worth a visit. One should take a whole day to visit the hut.
