Chekhov's House is a state memorial museum located in a small wing (Chekhov St., 69), where A.P. Chekhov was born.
It was here on January 29, 1860 that the third son of the Chekhovs, Anton, the future great writer, was born. The merchant of the 3rd guild P.E. Chekhov lived with his family in this wing from the end of 1859 to March 1861.
