The Babič family's ship mill in Veržej, Slovenia, is the only original, still functioning ship mill on the Mura River. It was built in 1925 by Jožef Babič and has been operating on this site since 1927, representing the third generation of millers at this location. The mill is not a museum, but a fully functioning factory where the Babič family still painstakingly processes grain by hand into various types of flour for local farmers.
