Cycling
The fountain, built in 1922 to commemorate those who fell in the First World War, is now a memorial to those who died in both world wars. It originally stood on a traffic island that no longer exists at the junction of Katzenbachstrasse and Aalener Strasse/Heidenheimer Strasse. As part of an inner city renovation, it was moved around ten meters to its current location using a hydraulic press in 1989.
