Pongwe Bay Resort is located right on the beach on the east coast of Zanzibar. Several suites are distributed in a small complex around the pool. The resort is small enough that all the staff can be very friendly and helpful in a nice atmosphere to take care of all the guests.
From Pongwe you can take a taxi to Stone Town and other parts of Zanzibar. Bay Resort itself also offers organized tours. Easy walks along the beach can be started directly from the resort.
