The 32-hectare East Park was created under garden director Carl Heike from 1907 to 1911. Extensive meadows with accompanying, wide paths and a large pond are the core of this first public park in Frankfurt. Since the time it was built, open sports fields have also belonged to the Ostpark, which has largely retained its original shape and has been a listed building since 1986. In 1983, due to a lack of demand from the schools, the former central school garden in the park was transformed into the Bürgergarten almost unchanged.

Great park for jogging. A round is 2.2km. In the summer there is a lot of grilling here. Unfortunately, like many other parks in FFM, there is a big Egyptian geese problem here.
