Under the client's direction, Manfred Predl planned and erected the chapel in 2019-2020 by the Salzburg-based company Pongauer Holzbau - Jägerzaun GmbH. The roof tiles were laid by a German company because no local contractor was available.
The ground-floor chapel was constructed using pine log construction, an exposed roof truss, and a slate shingle roof.
Strict adherence to structural wood preservation and the use of larch wood for the exposed components made it possible to avoid the use of any chemical wood preservatives both indoors and outdoors. The detailed design was developed, planned, and implemented in collaboration with the client.
Access to the chapel is possible at any time; it is unlocked daily in the morning.
Not only the chapel itself is worth seeing, but also the beautifully landscaped garden area surrounding it.
