Cycling
Boulders represent the bedrock in the low mountain range along the Weser and its tributaries. The blocks consist of different types of rock that occur in the Weser catchment area: red sandstone, shell limestone, greywacke, slate, granite and porphyry. The design of the forms and the mosaic-like surfaces are also based on this
geological features of the rocks.

Hiking
In June 2024, the Wesertal Model, which was in dire need of renovation, was demolished because the repair costs were deemed too high. The area was subsequently converted into a green space.
Although the model no longer exists, the memory of this special project, which vividly introduced visitors to the landscape history of the Weser Valley, remains.
