We drove from Garmisch up to the Plansee with fully packed trekking bikes. The route is easy to drive, you just have to drive carefully. A bit coarser gravel further up! But it worked well despite really heavy wheels!!! Highly recommended to experience nature!

The Plansee is a scenic jewel - on good days its turquoise-blue surface creates a contrast to the sky and the mountains. If you cycle along it, you will notice how big it is.
