The Drevenacker dunes are a nature reserve north of the Lippe, divided into two sub-areas near Wittenberg [komoot.de/highlight/459209] and Drevenack. The marked section of this highlight is not within the area of the NSG, but on the edge of it. Nevertheless, it shows the variety of flora and fauna that has developed in the varied landscape of sandy soil, moor, forest and heath.

Cycling is not always easy on the sandy path. A fat bike would probably be best suited!
