Additional information about the cottage: Hájenka under Rabštejn Castle was probably built at the beginning of the 17th century (following the history of the castle sometime between 1693 and 1759). From the original modest dwelling of a gamekeeper, it gradually grew into a self-managed farm. The building plans from 1886 for the reconstruction of the building for the permanent residence of two families have been preserved.

At the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, the rear outbuilding was added, in which the local gamekeeper opened an excursion pub.
