A good camping option along the wide granite platforms cleaned of vegetation by the rushing snowmelt waters of Buck Creek. In summer it is merely a trickle, but enough for drinking and washing. The campsite has a bear box. Use it! We had to defend our canisters of food that did not fit into the bear box as the bears came by to play with our bear canisters, which was cute but delayed dinner plans ...
