The current stone church was built at the end of the 18th century according to the existing ground plan. The church consists of a rectangular nave with an apse extended to the west and east. The western one houses an organ gallery, the eastern one serves as a chancel. Side tower to the middle on the south side of the nave. The old sacristy has a similar location to the north. Although the 18th-century walls of the church remain intact, the exterior is partly marked by alterations made around the turn of the 1900's when the towering spire was added. The walls are plastered - albeit with exposed corner chains - and are pierced by round-arched window openings. The interior is covered by a barrel vault, spire vault over the apse. The church interior still retains its late Gustavian character, although changes have taken place. In connection with the transformations of the turn of the century, stained glass was inserted into the Corabid side.Source: svenskakyrkan.se/hjo/hjo
