Hjo, the wooden town on VätternIf you are traveling on the west bank of Lake Vättern on the route from Jönköping to Askersund, you should visit Hjo. Hjo is considered one of the three most beautiful “wooden towns” in Sweden (the others are Nora in the Örebro region and Eksjö in northern Småland).
