As early as 1679, the Siegelhof consisted of the residential building that still exists today with two barns. The farm had ten acres of land, some gardens and two fish ponds. In 1742, the property was expanded to include stables. A fire destroyed one of the farm's barns in 1913, but it was rebuilt. A sheep farm operated on the farm until 1966.

Since 1971, the residential building on the four-sided farm has served as the clubhouse of the Herleshausen fishing club, which manages the farm's two ponds.
