One of the lakes in the Central German lignite mining area. The lake is a former lignite mine and is located right next to the Wallendorfer See, the inflow was via the Weißen Elster. You can completely circle both lakes. It is a bit bumpy on a racing bike, but all in all it is doable!

One of the lakes in the Central German brown coal area. The lake is a former lignite mine in the immediate vicinity of Lake Wallendorfer. The inflow was via the White Elster. A circular route around both lakes is possible. Sometimes very bumpy on a racing bike, but easy to do!

A lot of gravel, no asphalt, few people, but a lot of nature and a beautiful lake
