It crosses the Augapesada River, also known as Rego dos Pasos. This river forms the so-called Ames or Covas valley and flows into the Sar river in A Condomiña (Bertamiráns). The current bridge must have been built between the 17th century and the first half of the 18th century, but since Augapesada was an important road junction, it is conceivable that an earlier infrastructure already existed. It consists of a lowered semicircular arch and two spillways. The roadway is made up of large granite slabs, it has a volume gradient and the parapets are made of stone.
