Between the Cima I and II volcanoes there are these well-drawn curves that are adorned with a beautiful view of full of wooded vegetation. You will also be able to appreciate crop fields on the slopes of the volcano, although it does not have a shoulder there is enough space to ride your bike without conflicts, just take a good look at the edge of the road that is often dirty with small objects such as glass, earth and even pieces of bodywork since it is an area of frequent traffic accidents. In this section that looks like a graveyard for motorcyclists (mostly) you will find crosses with helmets, and even wings of those who unfortunately fell into the hands of "Santa Muerte" who, by the way, has his small "hermitage" 1 km further on on the shore of this same highway towards Cuernavaca.

Coming out of these curves there is a descent of open land where the wind regularly passes strongly and there is almost always a police post in some security operation.

This piece of road is in excellent condition and in addition to its natural beauty it is fun to enjoy pedaling, even going uphill from Tres Marías you can see the whole place full of vegetation and being there you can remember that the hard climbs of the route are over and the descent is very close (to Cuernavaca or to CDMX). It is part of a great achievement to be here, enjoy it! ¨)

A wonderful place to enjoy road curves with the view of volcanoes and their forests. Be aware of the wind when going around curves and watch for objects on the road. All the rest is joy!
