Cycling

The place was first mentioned in 1317 as "zv den Vndurften". The name means "in the meager (no need corresponding = low-yield) soils". During the Thirty Years' War, the Nundorf miller was tortured by marauding mercenaries in 1621 and robbed of his money. In 1969, the milling business was abandoned. The mill has since been used to generate electricity. On January 1, 1978, Nundorfermühle was incorporated into the market town of Ipsheim as part of the local government reform.
