Chapel in honor of the Trier Martyrs. Donated in 1506, today's building essentially in 1764. Outside of town on the road to Leiwen. Location in the vineyards. [1]

To commemorate the death of the Christians in Trier on October 6, 286. Key in the rectory. (Location: Coming on the road from Trittenheim a little before entering the town)

Surrounded by vineyards at the confluence of a stream with the Moselle stands the Martyr's Chapel, at the point where, according to legend, the Moselle was reddened by the blood of the Christians killed under Rictiovarus. Salentin von Isenburg and his wife Elisabeth von Hunolstein donated the complex in 1506. From the late Gothic church, which was desecrated in 1652 and 1656, rebuilt in 1764 and restored in 1858/60, only a keystone and the beginning of the former choir vault have been preserved in today's chapel
