It is easy to get from Fredenbaumpark to the other side of the canal via the Deusener Brücke bridge. A nice view shows up on the bridge.

Deusener bridge (at the Dortmund Ems canal with Dortmund-Deusen)At operating kilometer 1,986 the Deusener bridge leads the Weidenstraße over the Dortmund-Ems-Kanal. It carries the bridge number 1 and was built in 1953 with a span of 56.00 meters and a width of 10.50 as a truss bridge. It is operated by the WSA Duisburg-Meiderich. Right next to the bridge is the rowing center with the FS98 canoe and the rowing club Germania from 1929.Here, a change of the water side without stairs is not possible.

It is always interesting along the canal, the ships and waterfowl on the canal, the wild stern cattle in the NSG siesack on the edge
