The Jøssingfjord is surrounded by steep mountain slopes, the end of the fjord consists of a scree field. The country road winds over rocky slopes down to the water, past a former farmstead that is sheltered from the wind and weather under an enormous rock overhang (“Helleren” in Norwegian).

Definitely don't drive past. Up here you have a great view over the Jøssinfjord. Numerous (but quite difficult and strenuous) hikes also start here.
A short detour to the Tunnelstuo is also worthwhile.
