Since 1989 there has been a publicly accessible cultural history collection in the castle. It shows the collection and donation of Walter Tiedemann (* 1914; † 1989) and gives an insight into the history of the place. A "Militaria Room" shows exhibits from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as a lot from the area of bourgeois living and arts and crafts. Civil weddings are still held in the "wedding room". There is a fully equipped shoemaker's workshop as well as vintage typewriters, mousetraps, crucifixes, bibles, butterflies and much more.
