The cheese harp is a traditional cheese making tool. Today they are usually made of metal, but earlier used appropriately shaped branch forks.
Right next to the sculpture you will find the Sporaalpe. To this day, a Montafon cheese specialty is produced here by hand: The Sura Kees. Between mid-June and mid-September, the Alpe is open in good weather and you can try the sour milk cheese right on the spot.
