A key to visit the tower can be obtained from the Tourist Information Office during opening hours (Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and on weekends in the House of City History - Otto Rettenmaier Haus (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) can be borrowed against a deposit.

Mountain biking
After Goethe's "Götz von Berlichingen with the Iron Hand" was published in 1773, the stateliest of the towers, the quadrangular one, was declared an idol's prison and the "Idol Tower" in Heilbronn.
This name has stuck to this day, although in 1519 the knight had to spend a night in the bulwark tower and not here. Google
