The cycle path through the entire Ötztal
Starting in Haiming at 670 m, the cycle path runs through the entire Ötztal and ends in Sölden at 1,377 m. It branches off from one of the longest cycle paths in Europe - the Inn Cycle Path - and takes cyclists over 50 kilometers into the very unique mountain world of the Ötztal Alps.

Stage 4: Huben - Sölden (approx. 11 km)
The impressive mountain world in the rear Ötztal is getting closer and closer. At the end of Huben, you cross the Ötztaler Ache again and along a gravel path parallel to the main road. Through the underpass you end up safely on the other side of the road and drive on gravel to Bruggen. Another underpass is followed by a cycle bridge over the Ache near Aschbach and then a short uphill and a slight downhill. You then come to the next bridge overpass. At the next fork in the road, keep more to the east and do NOT drive towards the dog boarding house, but down to the valley floor, where another bridge crosses the Ache. The last part of the Ötztal cycle path finally leads east of the Ötztaler Ache into the municipality of Sölden. Text / Source: Ötztal Tourismus, Achweg 5, 6450 Sölden

The Ötztal cycle path was officially opened in Längenfeld on Wednesday. The project has been implemented section by section over the past few years. The 58-kilometer cycle path now connects all the communities between Haiming and Sölden.
