It is NOT a racing bike path, you can only get to the tower on an agricultural path! BUT : It is worth driving or pushing the few meters there, because it is a very beautiful place worth taking a break for!

This photogenic tower of the Chateau La Tour de By can be seen from a distance and is located in the middle of the vines. The tower was built in 1825 on the foundations of a grain mill and served as a lighthouse for the skippers on the Gironde. You can climb it and have a beautiful view over the Gironde and the vineyards.
