Last branch of the former prison to the north a few hundred meters from the tip of the date and the homonymous Cala della Mortola. It was abandoned even before the prison was definitively closed. This is a magnificent building isolated from everything.
It was used as housing for prison staff and also as a warehouse. It is thought that the name derives from mortula or myrtle whose plants are populated in the surrounding area.
