From the pilgrimage church in Neukirchen b. St. Blood it goes through the place and at the level of the pilgrimage museum/town hall right down and over the Freybach. From now on uphill to the Pürzerriegel, Schmidtriegel and Kohlriegel. Here there is a restaurant (service hut) for a rest. On the way there you will pass some artistic "cairns" or "stone pyramids" made by pilgrims and hikers. We overlooked the "Jakobus in the Starenkasten".
