Fountain of Santa Caterina, Catanzaro
Monumental fountain built in the late nineteenth century by the Société Anonyme des Hauts-Forneaux & Fonderiese du Val D'Osne, the largest and most prestigious foundry in Europe. The cast-iron jewelry of this foundry adorns the most important European cities. The fountain was created by sculptor Mathurin Moreau.
Monument to the Assumption of the Virgin Above the cathedral's bell tower (42 meters high), the bronze statue of the Assumption was created by the Calabrian sculptor Giuseppe Rito.
