The Sandesberg (Danish: Sundsbjerg) is at least 52 m above sea level. NHN the highest natural land point in the district of North Friesland.
The summit is in the municipality of Ostenfeld near Husum near ♁Lage, and is located about 700 m east of the town limits of Dorflage north of the Schleswig-Holstein state road 37 that passes by.
The Sandesberg is an old moraine and part of a ridge of the Bredstedt-Husumer Geest. It was left in place when the glaciers of the Fennoscandian Ice Sheet melted during the penultimate glacial phase before today, the so-called Saale Complex.
