Scalaro is a fraction of Quincinetto, located at 1413 meters, the climb to reach it is about a dozen km long for a difference in height of 1200 meters, with an average gradient of around 10%.
The road is in excellent condition and mostly inside the woods, a little alienating because there is never any reference to the location of the hamlet.
Only in the last two kilometers does the landscape open up and the destination can be seen. At the top there is a farmhouse and a picnic area, traffic is scarce.
