Built between the end of the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th century, its interior dates back to 1703, as can be seen in one of the rosettes of the vault that occupies the main altar.

Possibly it was built on top of another temple of smaller dimensions, this one being Romanesque in style (proof of this is the arch of the side door).

As a characteristic of the time, it has a Latin cross plan whose sections are covered with ribbed vaults and splendid curved vaults. Its construction is very simple, it is delivered to a single ship with a marked cruise. At the foot stands a belfry divided into two sections, also characteristic of the time. The cover, although with a Romanesque appearance, was built with its current structure.

It has a forged shield, stamped by a helmet, with two lions as a support, which rest their paws on the heads of two sirens, and which represent the arms of Miera and Arce.

Inside, it conserves all its original imagery in five 18th century altarpieces, among which the largest one stands out, Solomonic with double columns in the central street and excellent carvings of Saint John the Baptist, Saint Peter, Saint Paul and Calvary in the attic. . Among the sides stand out those of San Francisco, San Antonio, San José and the Virgen del Rosario.
