The historic old town of Vohburg is dominated by the castle hill, on which the so-called Vohburg was located until 1641. The old town itself is surrounded by three rivers, the Danube, the Little Danube and the Paar. Three gates have been preserved around the town centre, the Donautor, the Kleine Donautor and the Auertor. The town hall is also worth seeing.
