This is a beautiful route with a challenging character. You start your walk in dense forests, but soon you walk through the most beautiful heathlands and enjoy panoramic views, overwhelming silence and the singing of birds. During dry periods, the loose sand makes for a challenging walk, even for experienced walkers. This 4.6 km path can easily be combined with the Mierroute (6.5 km), allowing you to make a longer loop of approximately 11 km.
