Galasia Waterfall

The Galasia Waterfall, located at 645 m above sea level. in Aspromonte, it represents an exciting natural spectacle in an area rich in water and suggestive waterfalls. The path to reach it is short but suggestive and breathtaking. The path, crossing beech and pine forests, leads to three waterfalls that have formed pools in the rock, in which, in summer, it is a must to take a bath as a reward for the journey.

A natural spectacle
The Aspromonte area is rich in water and exciting waterfalls. The most sought-after ones are precisely those from Maesano; The same route there is suggestive, breathtaking and rather short, although difficult due to landslides. Before reaching the waterfall, you hike along beech and pine trees and then stay with your mouth open watching the power of the water descend to the summit. The falls are characterized by three jumps in tanks dug into the rock by the fury of the water; In summer, as a rich reward for the road traveled, a swim in the last of the three pools with clear water is a must.
