There is already a highlight of the "hiking car park at the forest playground" Horrenberg, but I think the real highlight at this point is the great forest playground itself. You can really have fun here with kids. A large sandpit, seesaw and play equipment invite the little visitors to climb and run around. The adults can relax a bit on the benches and overlook the quite large area, which also includes a large meadow that can be used for a picnic, for example, and is also mowed regularly. The playground is bordered on all sides by hedges and there are also two rubbish bins.
There used to be a large barbecue hut on the site and I seem to remember a suspension bridge that led across the swampy terrain behind the playground.
Together with a trip to the Dachsenfranz Cave, you can experience a nice day in nature with little adventures with small children.
