Place du Bain Romain in the center of the square was the old Roman swimming pool, of which only the Gallo-Roman steps have been preserved, is the current rest area of Bain Romain. The Roman bath, which was rebuilt for the fourth time in 1937, occupies the site. Almost completely buried, it is hidden with a lawn cover and glass plates. Above, a statue of a Roman soldier recalls Plombières' illustrious past. The oldest of the houses surround the 16th century square .
