Instead of using the paid parking spaces at the jetty (2022: 250 NOK), just drive a few meters further and stand by the river at the boat harbor. Cost me, it's allowed, there's even a fire bowl, trash cans, and picnic tables. EVERYTHING about this place is better than the neighboring pay places.
