Tips
It doesn't matter whether you ride a bike, walk or have a horse-drawn carriage chauffeur you - there are many ways to experience this very well developed piece of forest.
At first I was irritated by the separation of the paths (bike path, hiking trail) - but especially at peak times there is a lot going on and this separation makes sense and is really a good idea.
There are numerous crossings with benches for shelter - very good when it rains.

The best way to explore the Darßer Wald is on foot. Unfortunately, it is forbidden to visit particularly beautiful areas by bike.

A scenic route to make a relaxed bike ride. However, as a hiker, the bicycle traffic would annoy me. Although you are asked to use the middle path to the lighthouse, cyclists use the trails to get there.
