Hiking
The church was designed by Ferdinand Waldemar Lühr as a parish church and built in 1879/80 in neo-Gothic forms. The brick church was consecrated as Fredrikstad Vestre kirke (West Church) in October 1880 and can accommodate around 1,100 worshippers. The church has a 72 m high bell tower integrated into the facade.
