The Jardin du Pape is a secluded garden that had direct access from the Pope's apartments. It has regained its precious character by being redesigned with a replica of the "fontaine du griffon" fountain and the replanted flower meadow that originally surrounded it. The famous imposing La Roma building, of which only traces remain on the ground, will be recreated in the form of a monumental pergola that will eventually be completely overgrown with plants.
