Fantastically beautiful route. Perfect asphalt, little traffic.

I can really only agree with the previous speaker: it couldn't be more beautiful and, as is well known, it's a feast for the eyes!

If you are on the way from north to south through the Odenwald (it also works in the opposite direction, of course), you should opt for the quiet L3260 country road. What you get here can only be put into words to a limited extent, especially for me as a racing cyclist.
      I'll try it anyway:

A perfectly paved, hilly road winds its way through the Mossau Valley for almost 4.5 km. I didn't experience any traffic on a Sunday!
Coming from the north, a short climb of 1.2 km with a maximum gradient of between 4 - 8% awaits you. The mountain goes by the name of Hoher Zorn. According to the map of the area, this is indicated at 455 meters in altitude, of which (according to my bike computer) you only climb 437 meters in altitude. On the smooth way up I had no difficulties and was rather fascinated by the impressive piece of nature to the left and right of the road. The incline is pleasant to drive.

Once you've climbed the hill, it flows smoothly into the relaxed, fast descent. On the remaining 3 km you will experience short and long curves, an impressive 180° turn - which is certainly the icing on the cake of the highlight - and simply a great piece of nature with forest and meadow impressions.

I had the feeling that I had arrived in Ober-Mossau far too quickly and would have preferred to have driven the segment again straight away.
I'll be back, that's for sure!

Very nice climb with the best asphalt and little traffic. Nice and shady and pleasant in summer.
