Great waterfall, always quite crowded. Good rest area with clean (mostly) and heated! toilets. Ideal for warming up on cold days. When the weather is nice, you can also rest on the benches here. take the rubbish with you! Barbecue areas available.

The Icelandic word "dynjandi" means "the roaring one". When you stand in front of the 100-metre-high waterfall, you will understand why: thousands of cubic metres of water plunge into the depths here. The waterfall is widely fanned out and therefore particularly impressive. It is 30 metres wide at the top and twice as wide at the bottom. The waterfall and its surroundings have been protected since 1981.
