The war memorial on Eltenberg hill in Hoch-Elten commemorates the victims of both World Wars.

The steps and the original monument were erected in 1933. The surrounding walls were constructed from remnants of bunkers from the First World War.

The monument, which was severely damaged in the Second World War, was replaced in 1967 by a new one designed by the artist Wilhelm Hanebal. No names are inscribed on the monument.

In Nieder-Elten, war graves and individual memorials to civilian victims and soldiers have been preserved in a disused cemetery. A clear distinction between civilian victims and fallen or deceased soldiers is not possible based on the inscriptions on the gravestones.

A police officer listed as "fallen" in 1947 was also buried there.
