      The works for the construction of the Termine dewatering pump began in 1920 in an area which had already undergone the first reclamation attempts by G. Romiati. At the time of its inauguration, which took place in 1922 on the occasion of the first Veneto regional reclamation congress, the plant housed 3 vertical axis centrifuges with superimposed electric motors (this solution was adopted for the first time in this building). In 1924 the plant was integrated with a fourth group and began to operate in symbiosis with the dewatering pump of Torre di Fine. After the integration with the Ongaro Superiore and the flood of 1966, it was decided to increase the specific flow rate of the basin with the construction of the Valle Tagli drainage pump. The particular architectural value of the building is given by the exposed brick battlements and the articulated textures referring to the industrial age of the end of the 19th century.
